About

My name is Damola Morenikeji – i know you know that already :). I’ll tell you briefly about myself. If you need a profile for media / press, you can find some below.

Briefly:

I am an adventurous social entrepreneur committed to value-based leadership and the future of education and governance.

Currently leading the research team at LEAD Resources Innovation Hub with a personal focus on enhancing digital preparedness and future-readiness in the fourth industrial era. Having trained thousands on digital skills, as part of the Google DigitalSkills4Africa training programme, I’m looking to exploring Artificial Intelligence and other emerging tech. Prior now, I founded AllforDevelopment (www.allfordevelopment.org) in 2009 to build capacity of young people and promoting education, leadership and citizen participation in development, and initiated Studership, the annual youth leadership programme that have engaged over 200 emerging leaders from 35 countries, promoting value-based leadership since 2012.

I’m an ardent believer in the potential of young people and professionals to combine creativity and emerging technologies to create moonshot 21st century solutions, foster growth and leverage on learning, innovation and technology, while developing systems.

I’m a Fellow of the RSA, a Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) RLC Fellow, a Fellow of the Social Leadership Academy USA, a DESPLAY Fellow, and an aworldatschool Global Youth Ambassador. The Global Youth Ambassadors group was launched by the United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki moon and UN Envoy on Global Education, Gordon Brown in April 2014.
